Thanks for visiting!  Yellow Rose Dressage is located in Montgomery, Texas which is approximately one hour north of Houston in the beautiful Lake Conroe area.  I've been involved with Dressage for over 20 years and have trained and competed through Grand Prix level.  Riding, teaching, coaching and showing Dressage are my passion and profession.  I truly believe we can all have fun with our horses and ponies as we learn and grow with our equine partners.  All levels, all breeds and all ages are welcomed into the wonderful world of dressage.  Please have a look around my website or, even better, come for a visit!

2009 NATIONAL DEVELOPING HORSE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Nancy and Collector's Item, otherwise known as "cousin Chet" worked very hard in 2009 and made the finals for the national developing horse championships. They finished 15th in the nation and gained alot of good experience.
Many thanks to the show management and the staff at  Lamplight Equestrian Center for providing us with such a wonderful venue to showcase all of our talented young and developing horses !

Gateway Equestrian has a wonderful product now available.  It is called the precision rein and can be a great solution for riders that have trouble keeping their reins the correct length.  The reins have an adjustable loop built in that makes it difficult for the horse to steal the reins.  This product is being widely used in Europe and is very popular with jumper riders.  As a training aid this product could help you maintain a steadier connection !  For more info click on the picture.
